The water balloons battle LIPTON BIG SPLASH brings together hundreds of students in the famous square Ladeuzeplein of Leuven. The next Wednesday 30th April the city will hold this funny competition between several teams and 2500 students, who will compete for a prize of… ¡25 barrels of beer! Curiosity: more than 130.000 yellow balloons will fly over our heads during almost 2 hours!

Laughter and a lot of water will flood this University city of Flanders and welcome the heat. Is there any better idea to refresh and fight in such a peaceful way? I don’t think so!

EVENT PROGRAMME:

• At 14:ooh: Teams will get ready for the fight.
• Till 16.00h: Water walloons fight between students, NON STOP!
• At 16.30h. Semi-final
• Afterwards, the best two teams will get ready for the FINAL at 17:00h
• At 17.15h: The prize shall be awarded to the best team!
• 2 Fabiola and dj Pat Krimson will close the journey with music!
